Citadel AI is a global startup founded in Japan
that helps enterprises deploy AI safely and responsibly.
Since our founding in 2020, we have built an AI governance platform that supports the entire AI lifecycle, from pre-deployment risk assessments to real-time guardrails in production.
Our technology has been adopted by leading enterprises in Japan and around the world, as well as by international standards and certification bodies, across industries where trust and reliability are critical, including financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Citadel AI collaborates with government partners, including NEDO and AIST, on research to advance AI safety and governance. Through our research, we are developing AI safety evaluation technologies and practical implementation guidelines to help organizations deploy and operate AI safely and responsibly.
Citadel AI is also participating in a research project commissioned by the Cabinet Office of Japan to establish an AI evaluation environment.
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into business and society, trust becomes essential.
Citadel AI is building a “Technical Trust Layer” to evaluate AI quality, manage AI risk, and make the world’s AI systems more reliable and trustworthy.
By bridging rapidly evolving AI with the growing needs of society, we are shaping a future where the full potential of AI can be unlocked safely and with confidence.
